Full description
The International Whale Sanctuary is an important biological zone. The wealth of food here attracts thousands of fish, and consequently whales and dolphins. Every summer around 2000 whales and thousands of other cetaceans (including dolphins, zifii and capodogli) come and feed here.
Take an exciting boat trip inside the whale sanctuary and beyond the boundaries of the Marine Protected Area. This excursion can also include swim stops. Although encounters with dolphins cannot be guaranteed, the beautiful coastline of levante La Spezia makes this worthwhile in any case.
