Meet your guide, a professional chef, at a traditional wine cellar in Mantua. After a typical Italian welcome, head to the kitchen to discover the delights of Lombard’s world-renowned cuisine. Under the expert guidance of your hosts, set to work making a variety of dishes, using fresh meat, vegetables and olive oil purchased from the local markets.
Depending on your group’s preference, learn to prepare creamy risotto, fresh ravioli or polenta from traditional recipes. Finally, sit down to enjoy your home-cooked lunch or dinner, accompanied by a selection of Italian wines and a typical dessert such as sbrisolona con zabaione cake. Your experience will end after lunch or dinner, and you’ll be given the recipes to take home with you.
