Start your culinary adventure with your friendly, local guide. Tour through typical Sicilian villages admiring authentic lava stone houses, orange and lemon plantations, olives and almond trees while listening to charming stories about Sicilian culture, tradition, and food. Ascend to the breathtaking and mountainous Etna territory. Here, enjoy views of the best Etna vineyards surrounded by frames of lava stones.
Stop at an antique, family-run winery for a glass of cool Prosecco. After a guided visit of the cellars, start your wine tasting with tasty appetizers in an astonishing lava stone amphitheater. Enjoy red and white wine paired with locally produced cheeses, salami, artichokes, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and olive oil bruschetta.
Continue the tour to an ancient farmhouse. Discover a secluded terrace overlooking beautiful vineyards, farms, and flowers and enjoy more culinary delights. Savor unique local wines, ricotta cheese with marmalade, grilled mushrooms, grilled sweet pepper, vegetable omelet, fried cheese and 2 different types of pasta with seasonal local sauces.
At the third and final venue, a floral culinary country estate, tuck into a triumphant grilled meat dish (vegetarians will be served grilled vegetables) paired with a glass of typical wine.
