Arancini are stuffed rice balls, coated with breadcrumbs, which are fried. You will be challenged in the preparation of arancini, typical street food dish of Sicilian cuisine. Learn a brief history and introduction of the arancino in Sicilian culture.
Your chef will demonstrate the whole preparation, and then you will prepare your arancini. You will master the ability to replicate the recipe once you are back home to surprise your friends and family! After the informal and fun cooking lesson, enjoy a local wine tasting. The location will be an ancient Palmento (a place used for the production of wine until late 1800).
The tasting will be combined with local delicacies such as Provola Cheese, Dried Tomatoes Sicilian, pate' and jams on crostini bread, Brolo Salami, Bread cunzatu and of course...your arancini!
You will conclude your Sicilian experience with a guided visit to an orange plantation and you will have the chance to sample the tastiest oranges in the world directly from the tree.
