Merge yourself in the unique atmosphere of the Venetian Lagoon and live an authentic wine experience. Visit a picturesque estate in Mazzorbo Island and let you be guided by an expert sommelier in this sensorial experience.
Walk along the vineyard rows with your sommelier and discover a vineyard that has withstood the salt and high floodwaters for centuries, giving life to wine with one-of-a-kind characteristics found nowhere else in the world. The Dorona di Venezia wine variety has found a magical equilibrium on land that is constantly threatened by salt and water. Learn the history of a one of a kind estate: the owner, Gianluca, saved few plants from an antique vineyard in Torcello Island were the last surviving remains of the indigenous variety of Venice.
At the end of the tour, toast with fine wine. A long, almost extreme maceration brings incredible structure and longevity to the wine. Following in the footsteps of local farming tradition and inspired by the world’s great reds, this white wine is intrinsically linked to its terroir. There is only one hectare of this vineyard variety in the world, and only 3500 bottles are produced each year: you will have the opportunity to taste it.
