Travel along La Route des Grands Crus, one of the world’s most famous wine roads, to discover what makes Burgundy the envy of the wine world. Learn how Burgundy’s star grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, express themselves across Burgundy’s rich maze of villages and terroirs—all while tasting a selection of 3 organic wines of the 2019 vintage coming from neighbor plots and continue by comparing 3 vintages of their most reputable cuvée.
During this tasting, you will discover:
The history of Burgundy, the 6 subregions of Burgundy and their specialties, the region's famous wine road (La Route des Grands Crus) and the natural factors influencing the taste, style and ageability of its wines
Your wine advisors are graduates of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). You will be offered a thoughtful and documented approach to learn more about the history of wine, the management of biodynamic vineyards, viticultural techniques and the art of tasting.
Since 1726, five winemaking families have developed and made magic happen at Château, allowing its Clos Marey-Monge to produce incredible wines.
It is now the winery responsibility to guide our historic estate into a sustainable future and produce wines that taste better, are better for our planet, and better for us.
