Visit an exclusive local estate on the beautiful Florentine hills.
Enter in a famous estate that extends over 200 ha in the heart of Tuscany, near Florence, Vinci and Pisa, in the Montalbano area of centuries-old woods; this Tuscan “green area” was originally considered, according to the 1716 edict of Cosimo de’ Medici, a great grape-growing and wine-making zone, as well as Carmignano area in which the other run-family farm is located.
In this farm, joining tradition and innovation is produced great wine, such as high-level quality DOCG, IGT wine (Chianti Montalbano, Chianti Montalbano Reserve), some valuable IGT (Gioveto), vinsanto Millarium DOC. In addition, the estate produces fine grappa, and in the Olive mill, you can also find extra virgin olive oil. The family makes also a wide choice of typical hand-made food products without added preservatives or food colorings (vegetables under oil, paté, marmalade, honey).
Your tour will start with the cellar visit (winemaking phases, aging room, and bottling room). Then, discover the Oil Mill Room with a description of wine and oil production methods. At the end of the experience, you will taste 3 different DOCG/DOC (Chianti Montalbano, Barco Reale, Carmignano) wines, bruschetta with extra-virgin olive oil.
