Enter your chef's home and learn to prepare delicious homemade Pugliese "panzerotti". Panzerotto is a savory fried turnover which resembles a small calzone, both in shape and in the dough used for its preparation.
The most common fillings for this turnover are tomato and mozzarella, but spinach, mushrooms, baby corn, and ham are often used. Another filling is onions stir-fried in olive oil and seasoned with salted anchovies and capers, a seasoning which, mixed with bread, is also used for stuffed bell peppers in Apulia.
Together with your host, you will learn the preparation from the scratch: from the preparation of the dough and fillings to the realization of the finished product to frying.
After the hands-on class you will enjoy the meal with your friends and family, tasting also local cold cuts and cheeses, vegetables, and a dessert. Water and wine will be also included in your typical dinner.
