Explore the food markets of Rome, before enjoying a hands-on cooking class in a comfortable environment. Learn to prepare popular recipes before lunch with friends and family.
Your teacher will accompany you throughout the day and will be at your disposal during the fun and friendly cooking class. Meet them a few blocks from St. Peter’s Basilica on Via Fabio Massimo. Then, go to a typical food market to join the locals as they buy their fresh produce for the day. Select seasonal ingredients to help you prepare your lunch.
After a break in a charming café, head over to the Punto di Cottura cooking school for an exciting lesson in Roman cuisine. Learn about its origins, distinctive features, and traditional recipes. Relax in the home-style kitchen as you prepare a menu based on seasonal produce. Make an appetizer, first course, main course, and dessert, all linked to the culinary traditions of Rome.
At the end of the class, join your fellow students for lunch in a convivial atmosphere. Savor a small selection of regional wines as you chat around the dining table.
