Full description
A 2 hour private tour will guide you to discover the history of the oldest Republic in the world. A local guide will lead you on an engaging and interactive visit, to discover a new way of enjoying the most evocative corners of San Marino.
The itinerary allows guests to appreciate the symbolic monuments of the Ancient Land of Liberty at their best. Strolling through the typical medieval streets, they will explore the Old Town, a Unesco World Heritage Site, starting from the ancient Saint Francis Gate, the main access to the City Walls, to reach Piazzetta del Titano, continuing to discover the characteristic Crossbowmen's Quarry.
Through art and tradition, you move on to the sight from Cantone Panoramico, to reach the heart of the City: Piazza della Libertà and Palazzo Pubblico (Liberty Square and the Public Palace), seat of the Republic's oldest institutions.
The visit continues to the fascinating Basilica del Santo, the main Church, and then climbs up to the peak of Mount Titano, discovering the view of the Towers that dominate the panorama, ending the visit at the evocative Passo delle Streghe (Witches' Pass), from where an amazing view of the Adriatic Riviera can be admired from a unique and magical place.
